The sea and beaches of dreams
Beautiful beaches in the town of Bol, but in the immediate vicinity.
Zlatni Rat
Probably the most famous beach on the Adriatic, located in Bol, on the southern coast of the island of Brač. Due to its unusualness and beauty, it is also one of the most famous symbols of Croatian tourism. This phenomenon is a gravel cape (rât) about a thousand meters long, which is lapped by a clear and transparent sea. The beach is also special in that it changes shape and position, depending on the wind that is blowing.
The protrusion of Zlatni Rat in the narrowest part of the Hvar Channel acts as a kind of amplifier for all NW, W and SW winds, which makes Zlatni Rat an extremely attractive location for windsurfing.
Murvica
Murvica is located in the west of the municipality of Bol, about 4 kilometers from Zlatni rat beach and 6 kilometers from the port of Bol. Along the sea there are pebble beaches, which in the season attract bathers who want a more intimate atmosphere than the crowded Zlatni Rat. On the western side of the settlement is the bay of Dračeva luka, also called Dračeva uvala. Above it are the remains of the monastery.
Martinica
It is located in the east of Bol behind the beautiful monastery. A wonderful small bay with a beautiful view of the surroundings. In the immediate vicinity of the beach, you can find a beach bar and a restaurant (which are actually part of the courtyard of the monastery) where you can find refreshments. On this beach, in the sports center Paddle & explore, you can rent a kayak, SUP board, QUAD and bicycles or organize island tours.
Ribarska kućica
Also in the east of Bol. A wonderful small bay with a beautiful view of the surroundings. In the immediate vicinity of the beach, there is a beach bar and restaurant “Ribarska kučica” at your disposal.
